gently used treasures. This will be open to everyone not just league members so tell your family and friends.
It’s time to Clean up – Clean out….
Your garage, closets, toys, knick-knacks Etc.
The Spring Hill Art League will have their own table and will accept donations for sale, all proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
There will be a bake sale.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
There will be a 50/50 raffle.

YMCA CALL FOR ARTISTS, CRAFTERS, & FOOD VENDORS
The Hernando County Family YMCA is now accepting registrations for the 2nd Annual Arts & Crafts Festival.
Saturday, March 27, 2010 ~ 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
1300 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill, Florida, 34609.
Both indoor and outdoor spaces are available and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Indoor tables are available at $25, 12 X 12 Outdoor Spaces at $50, and larger spaces for Food Vendors is available at $100 or a percentage of sales. All registration fees will be pledged to the 2010 YMCA Annual Giving Campaign which provides memberships for those in need of financial assistance.

This is a FREE event but donations are always accepted to cover the cost of coffee and donuts.

POWERTEXT CREATION WORKSHOP October 2009
Regine Dossche of Powertex Creations gave a demonstration at the SHAL October monthly meeting of a new product she is introducing to the United States from Belgium.
Her workshop the following day was wonderful. All who attended had a great time and they all brought home a finished Powertex sculpture.
Powertex and Stone Art can be used alone or in combination with oils or acrylics to create new dimension to artwork.

SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS CHOSEN
The Spring Hill Art League has awarded 3 $1,000 scholarships this year to (L to R)
Kara Kern,Central High School,Lauren DeVico, Central High School, Michael Mesa, Springstead High School
The winners were selected by portfolio submission process and were reviewed by a panel of Art League members who judged for originality, creativity and presentation. Students submitted artwork and filled out an application stating their intentions for higher education in the visual arts. The awards ceremony and potluck dinner was held Monday, May 18, 2009.
