To increase public awareness of and to promote  the visual arts in Hernando County.  We do this by encouraging and supporting artists through educational programs for the continued development
of their talents and skills.

Art League members share camaraderie and creativity by attending workshops and special events; participating in exhibits and helping others.  Our artists work in a variety of mediums:  watercolors, acrylic, wood carving, sculpture, oil paints, photograph, clay, Batik as well as other art forms. 

We provide opportunities for our artists to display their works in various local establishments and award scholarships to deserving high school seniors who wish to pursue art as a career. 

Whether you are a seasoned artist or someone whose creativity is yearning to burst forth, we invite you to attend one of our monthly membership meetings.
